iHola! Spring is just around the corner and I am excited to finally get the chance to log back in and update a bit! I released the new art contest today Its Spring! I hope we can get some entries this time!
So I have been thinking about the future of Artstars. My dream is for it to become an official website someday where people of all ages can create and share art and use their talents to change the world! I will not give up and I hope the Artstars members do no either! I was just thinking about how as of now Artstars is limited to English only, wouldn't it be awesome if people from many different laguages could join in and make Artstars more diverse. Feel free to include other languages in your art entries and if you would, include what laguage it is in in the discription! (That gives me an idea for a new art contest!) Until next time: Liwis ![]()

December 1st, 2015 was Artstars 3rd birthday! Its so amazing to think back on how mach has happened in the past year with all the new members who have joined, all the wonderful art entries so many have posted, and the many changed Artstars has gone through! So as we enter into this new year, I'd like to make 3 goals for Artstars! First the goal for members is ten new members by Dec. 1st next year. Then for art contests, 4 successful art contests! Finally I have the goal to stay updated and modivated to keep up with the demand. It is hard to balance everything and I apoligize for the times when I cannot update. I Hope everyone feels inspired to make a good change this new year, grow, discover your gifts, and use them to create a fuller, more loving world! Happy New Years from Artstars!

Happy Christmas! I hope that you are enjoying the holiday season and that your Christmas is joy-filled! When you think of Christmas what do you think of? I have come to realise that its not about the gifts you get, its about the gifts you give. Sure a gift can be a toy or game but it can also be a donation or your time. This year Artstars challenges you to give a different kind of gift. Below are just a few ways you can give a different kind of gift this year! ![]()
The Salvation Army Bell Ringing https://www.registertoring.com/WebPages/Default.aspx" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">+ ,
Ronald McDonald House Charities,
Malala Fund https://www.malala.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">+
I'd like to say a bit more about the Malala Fund. Did you know you can use art to help? #WithMalala is a site where you can submit your art to help raise awareness for the problem in girls education. If you are interested please visit https://withmalala.org/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">+ !
I hope this inspires you reach out, not necesarly to give money donations, but to try to find a way to use your gift/ skills to make a difference in the world, whether that be drawing, painting, dancing, writing, speaking. . .

Hi all, happy fall! I have been inactive for a while and so I apalogize for not having any new contests. On that note, on December 1st, this years Christmas art contest will begin, so stay close by! I hope everyones fall has been sweet and filled with joy and I also hope everyone has a very wonderful Thanksgiving! Its that time of year again, time to be with family and create memories, sadly however with the season comes the stress of the holidays. There is so much to do and juggle that you can feel overwhelmed sometimes. That is why I'd like to share a website that could help with that stress. Calm.com is the name, and its right on! The entire website is simply for you to take a break and calm down, so check it out! Take a breath, calm down and always remember that if you are ever feeling stressed out, think about all the good things is your life! That always seems to help! Happy Thanksgiving!
Always, Liwis ![]()
